Hi rooted. I think it's quite obvious this thread is indeed for glitches and grabbits - otherwise they wouldn't be covered in so many posts! Yes there is a chat and banter here too, but please don't insult my intelligence by pretending this is not a cleverly hidden glitch thread. This may or may not be its raison d'être but it is a prime function of it and we all know that.

I think a measure of how we all feel about the thread was summed up by zippy last night.....who didn't feel comfortable being out when there was disagreements on the thread.

The lives of some of us have become intertwined. We notice if someone is missing or unwell. If it's thundering we think of Poppy:o

I love the bargains but I love the chat more:)

No, you're missing what I am saying. I've several times read back and spent a good hour or more doing so. I've seen back in the posts polite requests for clarification followed by replies from those whose earlier posts clearly showed they knew the answer but expected that person to spend hours reading back. I appreciate if it is in the last page or two but often that isn't so. I've seen people say about marathons and suggesting these people are trying to jump in and win it at the end. For a friendly thread that isn't very friendly IMHO. Don't want to have a big argument about it. Just passing comment about the few. I have had help here and it is much appreciated.

    I Promise to try harder:)

I feel sorry for all the animals this time of year if they are frightened of the fireworks :)

Actually, I would still be here if it was purely for chat. We are all friends on here (though most of us have never met) and a lot of us need somewhere to blow off steam or have a moan. This was a lifesaver for me when my husband was in hospital at risk of losing his foot through osteomyelitis.

By the way, anyone that was on here then and remembers, we had some good news. He went for his 18 month check up and all is absolutely fine, he doesn't have to go for any more check ups :D The surgery he had is too new for guarantees, but we should not have to put up with any more recurrances of the infecton :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
