I am not sure that is the case, if bought in store ?

Your Statutory Rights for a refund are related to FAULTY items, not 'change of mind' that is the case here.

The shops here are offering an additional opportunity of a refund if you change your mind, but that is not a legal right. Surely they can refuse at the discression of management ?

You're correct that your statutory right to a refund relates to faulty/not as described/not fit for purpoes goods but I'm talking contract law here.

i.e. you made the purchase on the basis that a "no quibble" refund was an available option. A's is in breach of contract if they refuse a refund when you have a receipt

ETA: manager's discretion could probably be applied to returning items with no receipt except that too is advertised as being an option on the As website and therefore part of your contract with them

Ring them they use the serial number.
The engineer they sent out said they work on a fortnight after it was made it was sold, so even if you have not registered it you get 5 years 2 weeks from manufacture.

I am looking at Henry hoover for £99.00 had good reviews from family.

No, as many recover as you like (bearing in mind the max 10 compare/amount of apg) but only one non-trigger

I have been over charged 3 times in A and have never been offered a gift card so I was just looking online to see if I could see anything about it and found this

    Overcharged

I think I've been overcharged, what do I do?

Please visit the Customer Service Desk in store with your receipt, where a colleague will be happy to look into your query.

If you have been overcharged they will issue you with a refund for the difference and a £2 gift card as a goodwill gesture.

Thanks but none of my codes have come through yet and I placed another order :p

You can amend your order up to a certain time the day before, providing you receive the codes from this order before that time on your next order, you should be able to login and amend your next order. Sam as if you wanted to add a loaf of bread to your order. As long as it is still available for making changes you should be able to get it to change your final total.
