You don't need to buy multiples of 4. Multiples of 2 work just fine (I bought 6 in one store for £4.86 and 2 in another for £1.62)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
ChrisEvanson wrote: »Bull! Why did they rush to take stock off or to do store corrections if it wasn't a mistake?!? Why not just reduce to 69p a box and do a massive promo?! Total rubbish!
Mr T logic :rotfl: I suppose it works because people feel like there getting one up on T's if its a "glitch" whereas if it was a normal promotion they wouldn't get that sense of getting something they shouldn't.0 -
That's all very well, but how comes other stores dont do the same. I still think there is someone who works for T's that does the online prices and has a grudge against their employer :rotfl:
More a language problem. I would bet they were meant to be 3 4 2 and the 2 was lost in translation and ended up £2:j:j:j:j0 -
PrincessSavings wrote: »Very interesting conversation with a SA in T who was stocking up the Special K. I was just having a nose at the SEL labels and mentioned that someone had told me they were on offer. She just giggled and said oh yes they were 3 for £2 for a few hours yesterday. I pretended I hadn't got any and she said T have so much stock of Special K and they are classed as a seasonal item (people want to diet for summer etc) so tesco do a price mishap to get rid of them. I said oh wasn't it a mistake and she replied "never..."
Interesting
No, she' not telling the truth...I suppose its policy not to admit mistakes, they make enough of them, lol.
I think someone said pricing is done in Mumbai and that is why the pounds signs and decimal points sometimes get missed off:)0 -
Morning all! Apologies for my flippant remark on 10 ways deals last night. I honestly wasn't aware that a lot of their deals are original.
This is what was in our finest bags last night (can you tell I like the photobucket app yet?)
I swapped my chocolate for more cheese
Yay!!! Thanks for posting that. Going to one next Tuesday...can't wait :j
Off to a M & S wine tasting freebie tonight0 -

just had a knock on the door an unexpected del ?
I purchased some beka sauce pans that were down from £85 or £90 each to £19.99 each
got sent the wrong pan so I contacted the company and was told the one I ordered was the last one and it had been sent to somebody else by mistake and I had there casserole pan
they had lots of casserole pans in stock and I was told they would telephone me for collection and del when they got the sauce pan back that I had ordered
this was last week
I did not know where the del was from until he had gone and I opened the box
so I was surprised to find the sauce pan in the box and the courier did not ask for the return
item
so fingers crossed looks like a free £85.00 pan :j
and they are very good quality stainless steel pans we are serious cooks and have been using them every day for the past two years and did not need new ones I could not resist at such a cheep price0 -
