    Thank you very much!

    Comparison total £12.15 £7.15

the apg came to £5.72 because you get the difference of the shop (£5) plus 10% of the cost of items at compared shop - which in this case was 72p (£7.15/10%) :)

I've edited above to show how APG interpreted your results just for these items.

That's a cost of £9 in reality but it compared £12.10v£8.50 to give an APG of £4.45 = cost £4.55

Based on your receipt this is how it should have compared

2 x Johnson's Face Care Makeup Be Gone Refreshing Wipe...£4.00£3.50
1 x Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel (15...£2.000£2.00
    1 x Lynx Shower Gel - Excite (250ml)£1.00£1.00
    1 x Lynx Apollo Shower Gel (250ml)£1.00£1.00
    1 x Lynx Shower Gel - Dark Temptation (250ml)£1.00£1.00
    Comparison total (compared products only)£9.008.50

    That's a cost of £9 with an APG of £1.35 = cost £7.65

So you are better off than you should have been if APG worked correctly

Wouldn't the lynx on your hypothetical APG also be 3 for a fiver?
Or does it not work like that?

When Mr T messed up with the wine offer and we were getting 6 bottles of Ogio for £10 , was it the Pinot Grigio ?

It's going half price tomorrow so may have to do a C&C order.
It was chardonney (i see enterprise beat me to it). I actually like it and I normally stay away from that :D

    I thought that was the glitch on the simple - it's in the 3 4 £6 instore but 3 4 £5 on msm ...

thats why i thought they were doing 2 3f£5 shops at once

My MSM doesn't list Johnsons at all. It's n/a in sada

so buying 2 johnsons, 1 simple and 2 lynx would compare

    £11.10v7.50

APG of £4.35 on an £8 spend makes cost £3.65

thats the risk, so best not get 3 and instead force 2 lynx to mix/match with 1 simple ;)

ETA: or just 2 johnsons/1 simple and no lynx woudl be better wouldn't it? I take it thats what people were doing all along? :o

    oh my

I have just spent half an hour arguing with T CS in store. I got the £10 meal deal, unfortunately, the cornish mash didnt go through, making it £18.50 (and an £8.50 overcharge). CS wouldn't give me DTD, told me she would give me £8.50 back and as goodwill, charge me the £10 meal deal price  So it went up to her boss. Who said the same, i'd picked up the wrong item, despite there being a big sign/SEL for cornish mash. Off to CS i trot again whilst we wait for the big gun (non food ops manager). Only for me to head back to the aisle for the third time... and the previous manager had removed the SEL.. sneaky peaky!! Anyway, long story not short, they refused to give DTD, saying it wasn't an overcharge. Bunch of crooks. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or shout at this point. Had run out of time to ring T H/O whilst in there.... so i got a refund and told them to stick it!!

Got back to work, lodged a complaint against all three members and their shi77y store and I now have a £15 GC coming to me. Don't get mad, get even :p Fancy flashmobbing T FB page?:rotfl:

I see what you mean now. My hypothetical APG was assuming results were displayed correctly and as per receipt ;)

i.e. I was working out what they were genuinely entitled to and pointing out they are still better off
