Good morning everyone, last day for me in far flung reaches of SW Wales. weather has been kinder than it might have been!
tried to keep up with the thread but not easy on a tablet.
Do like your barter system RootedNomad. Yes I do like Jordan's, crunchie and granola
. I've earnt my keep here by cooking/cleaning/gardening. Gardening has been especially therapeutic, as I don't have a garden at home. But have also got out and about too. visited a stately home, castle, gold mine (very MSE with a National trust members card) The Botanical gardens were lovely.
Will fill all of brother's different bird feeders this morning.
Had to look up in a reference book, as wasn't sure what large bird I was seeing riding the thermals, but have seen a kite twice. Lovely!
Welcome to dipashah.
Bigjoe, you've certainly fathomed out APG'ing quickly, well done!
Westvleteren, I'm very much like you, not going after any where near as many glitches as I would have done in the past, now both DS's are at uni, and only feeding myself. Will keep reading the thread in case anything appeals in the future, and there is only so much non perishable items that can be stored.
Have a good day one and all.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
i been putting 5 pounds for gas and 5 on electric all through the year so i have built up some credit.
Also bought reflective foil for radiators and had the water turned down as low as i can without being cold.
have to change to someone else when my fix and fall finishes in november:(
Good morning.
We don't have double glazing, put off getting it done again as we used window insulating film last year and it was surprisingly effective. Also discovered it reduced condensation, went from having loads of water on the panes to fine mist on the film. Hi all, for those who do apg online, do you still make up the address at the end or do you use your real address and only get £100 a month apg?
also does apg start from your first apg or from the 1st of the month for the montly cycle?
thanks xx0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Okay, with apologies to Flo, whom I know likes the toiletries, face creams and body washes, I've not yet reached those areas on the M list. I'm going to have to call it a night, as been on it long enough for now. In theory I'm about a third of the way through (going by the number of pages to check) but, as there are absolutely loads of items on one page in the said areas, I suspect there's a lot more than that! Seems I've taken down details of lots of chilled items too - not yet reached that on the list yet.
Not to worry - it's in capable hands:) (or maybe incapable ones:think::rotfl::rotfl:). More to be added as and when.
Not got too far yet in the 'SP' list but I'll get there eventually!:)
Goodbye!!:):)
(Don't forget to see my posts, around 1885 onwards, about Bottlegreen drinks (2 bottles, around 19p each?) and some crisps vs Ws.)
Savvy all the work you do is very appreciated and you are getting to know me so wellwe seem to use body wash like water:o

I open it first on my iphone app and then when I open it then on the pc because it has been opened first on the iphone it doesn't ask for any details. If using the pc/laptop is only option then I made up addresses.0 -

Please can you tell me more on the window insulating film. We're renting and live in a Victorian house, only upstairs is double glazed minus my youngest baby bedroom. Really want to fix his room.0 -
