Meant to say I bit the bullet today and signed up for Ts delivery saver as we get a delivery a couple of times a month.
There is a code for 50% off and TCB of 12.6%. Got any time for 6 months for £30 and TCB has tracked at £7.56, so 12.6% of the 60% pre discount amount :D

Have ordered for tomorrow several of the single portion Uncle Bens mulitipacks of microwave rice. They are £3.49 reduced to £1 smilie27.gif Not sure if it's the original price that's wrong or they've discounted incorrectly but seemed a good deal to me

Thanks I will add some to my cc for Wednesday ( it's free on Wednesdays at my store) does seem a good price and I can't cook rice properly it always ends up a sticky mess!!

    Hope everyone is ok.

I still have an ill child :( I also have 2 very inconsiderate students who I would quite happily poke in the ear right now. They seem to think its perfectly acceptable to be coming in and out the house at gone midnight, banging and crashing around. They tried to bring a lad in to their room about 1 this morning then gave me a filthy look when I said no. it's so bloody disrespectful, this is my home not a sodding hotel. I've rang the school up given them a gobful, if the 2 girls want to stay here till February then they better buck up their ideas
    - I feel so much better now I've have a moan lol, I was up half the night feeling furious.

How are the poorly people feeling?

We tried crackers/crostini/cheese twists, stilton, crumbed ham, chutneys/pickles, chocolate and cake :D
They also passed around some tea bags that came in a really nice tin. Would make nice tea/coffee/sugar set.

The goody bag had pasta, wild mushrooms, cheese, chocolate and some recipe cards. The exact types of each seemed to vary between the bags. I had Stilton for example whilst my mate had Wensleydale.

I've not been before and TBH it was completely different than I was expecting. Not sure how much I'll be able to fly under the radar :o One of the women doing the presentation remembered that I'd got DTD on the beers/cider packs the other week

Ooh sounds fab I hope my store decides to join in...:)

Flo flo - hoping your rash isn't serious .... Not changed your washing powder, conditioner, shower gel lately have you?

Hopefully not Shingles - Flo my Dad had a couple of spots on his scalp but ignored them - all of a sudden one side of his face swelled up and his eye almost completely closed - not a spot in sight. We were visiting for a 50th - he said he was ok and didn't want to see anyone  It was very painful - I thought he was having a stroke. Anyhow Saturday so made apt for out of houors and then dragged him reluctantly. Dr knew straight away .... Says it can get very painful and was very keen to know about how long symptoms - but he had missed the 72 hour window another poster mentioned.

So you are doing everything right and I hope its not S. I know you are concerned about parents evening - but if the worse happens can they not set up a Skype booth in your place? Just a thought ...........
