Deal Ending March 2014 - Should I fix
My dual EDF deal is ending in March 2014. There are no exit penalties.
I've priced up another fix with 3 other energy providers. For another 3/4 years fix, I'll be looking at another 19% increase per year. Cannot decide to go for this fix now or wait until next April and fix again?
Any suggestions much appreciated.

What was the point of fixing until April 2014 if you're now going to leave that tariff and pay more?0

Which means the OP will have been paying more for the last year or more for no reason.0

that's without the price increases for each and every new tariff that comes out0

Higher by 5%, 8% or 15%?
If you think 15% per year for the next four years, grab the 3.3 winter fix right away.
Remember it's up 30% over five years from 2009,
and the SSE increase recently is 8%.
remember the below figures are just averages, the true unit cost price rise would have been much higher than the below official figures for some people so people could well pay more than 15% a year this time around aswell, just look at the npower thread last year when people were paying up to and over 20%!!
