Hi all
I recently moved to an all electric one bed flat.
I am on a E10 tariff with SSE, the rates are going up soon to:
standing charge 27.41
standard energy 17.55 per kWh
Off peak 10.18 kWh
Off peak is 12am-5am which I don't use at all, 1pm-4pm and 8pm-10pm.
I am struggling to work out if I would be better on a standard tariff with the same price per 24 hours.
I have a key meter by choice which I know is more expensive but I know what I am spending which is important to me as I am on a very low income( ESA)
I at home most of the day.
Any advice would be great....Thx

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.0 -
Electric radiators are how they were described to me, controlled by a central thermostat they also have there own temp control, once hot they heat very well and stay warm 30-60 mins when switched off.
They were put in recently to replace old storage heaters before I moved in.
My hot water is a tank with immersion? not sure but I only heat it for one hour in off peak period and it stays hot enough for next 24hrs.
No bath just an electric shower.
