Best bank for charities sending cash abroad

Hi all,
We're looking to move our charity bank account and wondering if anyone here knows of a bank account that is free (for charities), doesn't charge the earth for transfers abroad, and can do the basic things that a bank is expected to do without us having to contact them every few months with a problem.
Any recommendations - EXCEPT HSBC - gratefully received.

I don't know if they can do what you need, BUT as a charity I'd look at Unity Trust, CAF online, Stewardship (may only be deposit accounts) and Triodos.Signature removed for peace of mind0
