tipex on bedroom wall

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
this tipex has hardened on and been there a while. Any good way to loosen it off without damaging the emulsion on the wall? its a discontinued colour and don't want to recorate the whole room.

    Warm soapy water will wipe off tippex no problem.
