So it sounds like the real scammers here are the postal union.0 -
Could the Chinese company be delivering a bulk load of items for European customers to Belgium and then sending them on via Belgian Post?0

I had some stuff from China that came SwissPost0

The item did have a mains/USB plug. But i was wary of using that so only power it from a USB hub.
The part that fits inside the phone cover is only a copper coil so little to go wrong there.

It will cost more than i paid to return it. Give it away? Charity shop?
None of these options seem to be to reimburse the seller for sending two items to you?0 -

Sounds like an inductive charger. However, my major concern was the same as yours - the part which converts mains 240v in to a 5v USB outlet. That part is certainly something to be suspicious of and considering how you obtained it, I wouldn't suggest you use it or pass it on. I think you're right about that. However, anything which gets its power from a USB plug is only going to receive 5v, which shouldn't cause any real danger to anyone. Even if this part goes faulty, I'm sure you're not in any danger. It could possibly damage your phone, I don't really know enough about the phone or device to say, but I know that 5v won't hurt you. The important safety features that protect you are in the mains to USB adapter (provided it's a good one!), so just make sure you use a good one of those with all USB devices.0 -

It only cost £16. And i dont want or need it. You can only fit one.
Oh, if its going to cost you too much to send it back obviously it's fine the seller is out of pocket.
I don't have any suggestions, what you do is up to you, but leaving the seller out of pocket is wrong. Maybe you'll be out of pocket sorting it out, but that's tough IMO.0 -
If the seller had used a tracking number that UK systems could use then maybe i wouldnt have needed to claim for item not received.
Belgium tracking said at my local office. No idea which office and with the numbers give i think it was a 23 digit code.. No UK system could use.
Post office, Sorting office had no idea where the parcel was.
So i can send it to you to return to them?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
