Old TMN Group (themutual.net) shares

Hi, I've just found an old share certificate from the old TMN Group days - I have about 650 shares.

After a quick Google, I find that TMN has been renamed Progressive Digital Media.

Does this mean I have 649 PDM shares now - worth more than £1,400 at today's rate (they're listed on AIM)?

If so, that's great! Would I be entitled to a new share certificate from the new firm?

I've emailed them but it just bounces back.

That name's a blast from the past - I suspect that when it changed that the shares became worthless - I very much doubt they are worth £1400. If you do then I'm going to have to figure out what happened to mine

There have been at least a couple of share consolidations over the years. I don't have the details but the last one is shown on Google Finance as being 140:1000 on 25 Apr 13.

I would say you probably have one or maybe two shares now.

Weren't they held online? Capita? Can't remember, I'll work on it. It wasn't relevant after I transferred mine to my broker's nominee a/c.

Well, a swift Google brings up an old thread from someone else who was hunting their TMN shares: http://www.missingfortunes.com/cgi-bin/Forums/YaBB.pl?board=Missing_Shares;action=display;num=1052843876.

It was Capita, as I thought I remembered, but I've no idea whether the procedure suggested will still be valid.
