  • I've just taken in a ginger cat (after trying to track down any owners and making sure he wasn't just after a free meal ... !) and as he's a real orangey ginger, I've called him Tizer after the drink :O)

OH loved reading Orlando The Marmalade cat books when he was a child. So, when we got our lovely tabby ginger, he was given the name of Orlando. However, he was a she, so became Ollie. We have since had Clio the black and white, and our current owner is Benji.

lol - my other thought when I saw you liked 'Fletcher' was - why not make it 'Norman Stanley Fletcher'! after the main character in 'Porridge'. I would love to hear the vet shout that out!!!!!!!!!!!

He is so cute - and with those 'Blue Eyes' Old Blue Eyes himself comes to mind.
    Frank Sinatra!
The only name that stood out for me in this thread was Porridge !

  • We have a ginger cat called Thomas O'Malley (Mally) after the cat in the Aristocats. Previously had one called Rusty who used to come for walks like a dog and going back to the 70's one called Twiki after the robot in Buck Rogers :-D I used to wake up and he would be asleep across my neck like a scarf.
