Cheapest bright, matte touchscreen

I have been looking for a touchscreen laptop forever now. I want a 15.6 inch touchscreen with an i5 processor and pretty much the main models out there at the £550 price range are the Asus S550 or a similar Acer. The issues I the Asus has a glossy display that reflects outdoors and the Acer does not have a bright display.
When I was in John Lewis some months back I think the cheapest I seen with bright Matte screens were around £900. I am willingto buy from the US and pay the import tax as this seems to work out cheaper, but I still don't know what model I will go with.
Dell is totally confusing. Anytime I hear of a good deal on their site I can't find it and since it is online I am unable to tell what the display quality is like.
I would appreciate any ideas. Incidentally I am convinced there is price fixing going on, but that is another issue as I can't prove it.
