Raw Feeding For Dogs

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody on here feeds their dog a raw diet? I've recently been looking into raw feeding for my dog and am seriously thinking of swapping over from kibble to raw.
I'm probably going to go for the 'Prey Model Raw' diet but will probably add the occasional bit of other food from the 'BARF' diet type as well. Is there anybody who feeds their dog according to either the PMR or BARF? Which do you think is better?
Also, if anybody would share their weekly or daily feed plan on any raw diet, I'd really appreciate it in order to get some ideas. Or some foods that they'd particularly recommend or that their dog really enjoys. I'm looking at chicken, duck, ribs, liver, kidney and things like that but any suggestions would be very helpful!
Oh, and I've read about a few risks of the raw diet but haven't come across any cases where these things have actually happened and was wondering if anyone had any bad experiences feeding raw? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worthwhile feeding a raw diet and weighing up the pros and cons.
Thank you!

There's been quite a few threads on raw diets so worth a search. To save repeating myself, here's a few of my replies on previous threads

There are a few people on here who raw feed cats and dogs, I'm sure they'll be along soon with some advice.
I'll be keeping an eye on the thread because I've been undecided about raw feeding for quite a while but I'm starting to consider it more now but it is a minefield with lots of conflicting advice.0 -
As well as the threads linked to on here, there is a LOT of information on raw feeding over on petforums

My vet's advice was the best thing for me: Just do it. Monitor dog and decide how she is doing.
My dog had pancreatitis and had previously had trouble keeping on weight. Within 2 months of raw (prey model), she was fat as anything lol. We feed primarily chicken carcass with some whole fish. She eats berries, melon and apple and refuses any other type of veg/fruit!0 -
i do. we changed over 2 yrs ago and have never regretted it, newest kitten is also totally raw fed, older fat cat about 50/50 raw and wet food
i tend to feed a mix of chicken, turkey, duck, rabbit, vennison, mixed game, beef, lamb and pork with bones and offal from most of the above. also the odd tin of oily fish
i would def advise reading all the stickys and posts on pet forums, they are a very knowledgable bunch and there is a good mix of BARF and prey feeders.Lead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0
