EDF Blue & PP vs Scottish Power Online Fixed March15

Hi all,
Please be gentle, this is my first energy switch since moving house 10 years ago.
I have just joined the MSE Cheap energy club and ignoring the companies flagged up for bad service, I am torn between EDF Blue & Price Promise or Scottish Power Online Fixed both run until 31 March 2015. Both the same price the only difference I can see is that SP charge exit fees and EDF do not. Both have lots of complaints on here but apparently not bad enough to warrant a *beware* marker on the cheap energy club results.
Is there anything else I should be looking at between these two?
Hoping someone can help before my head explodes

if both are the same cost, then I would choose the one without exit fees, incase something comes up cheaper down the road (very unlikely) but at least you have option of leaving for free should you wish too
as for complaints each and EVERY company as bad feedback, be it npower or SP etc, if the price is right and it suits your needs, then go for it.0 -
remember to use quidco or topcashback for extra cashback if they have any offers on0
