Hi all,
When the solicitor did a bankruptcy search on both of us, something came up on my boyfriend name...but it has nothing to do with him. Is it just someone else, is that all they search on, your name??
The solicitor has said if we sign it and say its not relating to him it shoudl be ok but its kinda worrying?

I had the same with both my last 2 mortgages - it's nothing to worry about, just sign the the documents stating it is not related to him."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I got sent loads of names of bankrupt blokes in Newcastle and Yorkshire with the same name as me. You feel like writing back saying don't be ridiculous, I'm not paying my lawyers to waste my time like this, but you just sign and return it. You will find many more examples of solicitors asking stupid questions before the process is over.Been away for a while.0
