On cheapest duel fuel deal - but should I still change supplier?
Hi, according to MSE energy checker I am currently on the cheapest deal which is an eon capped price until April 2014, however am aware that prices are going up this winter and wonder whether I should change to NPower 2017 fixed price now to get today's fixed price for 4 winters rather than the likely increased price fixed deal after my eon deal expires in April 2014. Help, need some guidance, trying to be a savvy consumer but don t want to shoot myself in the foot!

You got the April 2014 fix so you can have cheap energy this WHOLE winter.0

Agreed, if you switch just before the winter starts then not only are you paying more for an extra winter, but you'll have paid more for previous winters for no reason! You got the April 2014 fix so you can have cheap energy this WHOLE winter.
It's unlikely for prices to rise again until this time next year (SSE have even committed to this) so wait until the summer.0
