I bought a table and chair set last January and already the laminate is coming off and one of the chairs is broken (the seat has come awat from the back) and 4 of the other chairs have gone really squeaky (We only have one decent chair out of the six!) . The shop said i can take them back and they should be able to replace it.
Would I be entitled to a refund or even store credit. Not sure I want the same table and chair set as this one has been awful.

The shop can choose whether to repair, replace or refund so if they are offering a replacement they are doing the right thing.
They could technically refuse to do anything unless you prove the fault is inherent as it is more than six months since purchase.0 -
That was what I was thinking. at least they said on the phone that the store should replace it. Luckily they give up to a year for faulty products.0

little update - I took the table and chairs back earlier and was offered a full refund
Really happy with their customer services.
