Minimum court claim?

Hi!
Encouraged by my boyfriends successful claim for £1058 from Natwest I'm now pursuing my own claims.
I thought I would try an account with A&L with only £65 worth of charges before I move on to my main account with Natwest which is considerably more.
I have received the second reply from A&L saying the charges are fair etc and they will not refund. The next stage would by Moneyclaim but given the charges only total £65 is it worthwhile? Is there a minumum claim amount that the court will take notice of?
Thanks for all the help on here!

£65 is your money so what could you buy for that? A&L are hoping you will not pursue it and it will be more costly for them if you do pursue it, and remember that you will get interest on that £65. I have seen lower amounts claimed back.0

Oh my, must agree with NWSM.
£65 reunited with you, or £65 in thier pocket!
I don't think the Billions they have will miss your £65, and how dare they take in in the first place.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no minimum amount. I know of someone who is starting a claim for £6, half of a £12 late payment charge.
Claims for relatively small amounts do actually have one big advantage. It is proportionally more cost-effective for the bank to settle. If they make you have to issue a court claim, it immediately costs them an extra £30 for your court fees.
Before doing so, I'd give the person who wrote the refusal letter a ring and see if they really want to be responsible for increasing the cost to their employer of either an out-of-court settlement or you winning your claim by just under 50%.
If they can't or won't see sense, then start court proceedings on Money Claim Online. At least the judge will be able to see that you took the initiative and tried to reach a settlement.
