Do Halifax-Online Offer an e-Message Facility?

I'm having trouble finding it if there is. Surely one of the plus's with banking online is being able to leave quick and easy messages referencing what you are seeing on your screen.

I don't think so. What's your need to contact them BTW?

Alliance and Leicester allegedly offer secure messaging but they never replied to my messages (which is appalling) and they bury the location of the secure message feature under 3 or 4 links anyway, so you'd never find it (which is postively 'conspiratorial'!)

    It gets better!

From the 'My Accounts' screen click on 'Help'
This brings up a pop up window with a left hand menu
The LAST item there is 'Contact Us'
Click on this and a sub menu appears
The LAST item there is 'Other ways to contact us'
Click on this and the right hand of the pop up displays new links
One of these links says 'Send us a secure message'
Click and this link and (hey presto!) it returns with:
'To send a secure message you must
log in to Internet Banking and return to the 'help' section
    '

    Uhh?
.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam

There doesn't appear to be this facility, strangely enough! Found 'Contact us' telephone numbers, but nowhere to send a message, unless it's well hidden somewhere. They don't shout about this in their all singing, all dancing TV ads!

I couldn't find a secure messaging feature either. I was trying to get a certificate of interest for my income tax return but could not find a link for that either on the online banking system. (Halifax sent my a certificate automatically for my savings accounts but not for my current account.)

If you want to telephone them, then try looking through:

    for a cheap number.
