Anyone got a view on Whitney UK Limited?
Seem to sell 'Property Investment seminars' - make a million, blah, blah, blah,.. , first one free, second one approx £1,800 third one £17,000 and up (according to some web-chat).
They seem to be rolling out their 'sign-up' free seminars to all corners of the country.
Anyone been to the first free seminar (I've heard it's basically a 2-4 hour sales pitch for the 3 day £1800 course)?
Note to MOD: not sure if this type of posting is allowed (libel and all that?), perhaps people should PM me? Let me know.
Interestingly the limited company isx registered as a 'provider of adult and other training' - so they don't make money themselves out of property, buy rather by just telling others how to make money. (Bit like those books that came out when the lottery was first introduced?)
Similarly the founder in the US (Russ Whitney) seems to be 'unpopular' in Florida, (Better Business Bureau, similar to our Trading Standards).

Also had a quick look at the Companies House registration, they've only been registered since 2001 so are they experts on the UK property market in only 4yrs? Doubtful. Only reason it's been easy make money on property during this time is due to a propery boom. Now things have slowed down it's simply not going to be that easy to make vasts amount of money.
I'm no expert, but I'd imagine the US property market to be different. Besides why dispense with all this knowledge so you can make stacks of cash. Surely it would be better to make the money and keep your secrets quiet? It seems to me this company is happy to make money out of other peoples greed.
You can learn more on property from TV programs- there's loads about. Estate Agents if you ask nicely can fill you in on market developments. Personally I'd stay clear and do my own research for free.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0
