Dear Moneysavers,
I am hoping someone can help me out there! I am decorating our 'football mad' boys playroom. So am going with a football theme! They have footie bedrooms - you know england curtains, bedspeads, posters etc etc, so I would like to make this room really different and very cool!
I have found wall bangers and other murial stickers to make the walls really funky, But the flooring is driving me mad!!!
I would like a 'grass' type flooring. So the room looks a bit like a football pitch! I have found flooring here:
http://www.harveymaria.co.uk/
But at nearly £450 to cover the floor its really not affordable!!!! Playroom measurements are 4m x 2.5m.
Any ideas would be gratefully recieved! Plus if any one has done a footie designed room before and can give any tips or ideas, that would be great!
My budget for decorating the WHOLE room is about £250.
Thanks
Hunny

Why not just put a cheap green carpet down, you could probably get an off-cut, and then you could get a football pitch rug (they do one in Argos for only £14.99) and it would still look effective.

Have you thought about artificial grass? A quick search found this site...http://www.rugsearch.co.uk/artificialgrass/index.html
Not sure what its like but if it's good enough for big brother I guess it must be ok  And if your kids are footy mad they would love it!
You could always request a sample to see what it's like, theres a link on this site. I worked out it would only be £134.90 for your size room as it comes in 4m lengths :T
Oh and don't forget the Everton posters!
