Depends on the airline .....Certain Amex cards do with certain airlines .I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Amex Platinum gives gold cards for some airlines and also Priority Pass but it is £450 per year.
Diners I believe used to be good for this but have just withdrawn in so it is a pay per use0 -

Barclays and Natwest can offer Airport Angel with limited use
American Express Platinum gives by far the most comprehensive access having an unlimited Priority Pass, gives you Sapphire status with One World and the card itself gives you access to a few lounges including their own. Obviously you have to balance that against the £450 fee but there are other perks involved.
Of cause many of the standard lounges, which the Priority Pass and Airport Angel give you access to, allow a pay on use and plenty of websites offer access at a reduced price.
It really depends on how much you'll be travelling and to some degree with who and to where.0 -
The lounges that all those schemes use will generally also take cash/card on the door. £40 is typical. Worth it if you have a 3h change as you can have a hot shower and clean up and feel human again on an economy longhaul.0

Certainly the Priority Pass and Airport Angel ones. The AmEx, OneWorld, Delta, American Airlines and EuroStar ones you cant which you can get into directly or indirectly with an AmEx Platinum. Of cause you'd need to be travelling a fair amount to make up the £450 fee and be finding yourself in a place without any other lounges that PP or AA could get you into as there isnt much difference between these and the third party lounges.0 -
Does anyone know if you can use the free ones for a guest e.g. a couple.Gold reward Amex (£125 fee waived 1st year)
You get 2 free entry via lounge pass
Or are the free ones for the cardholder only.
I've read it over and over and it's not clear.0 -
Either 2 visits for the cardholder, or 1 visit for the cardholder plus a guest.0
