Night away in London for 10th Anniversary?

Hey guys,
Not sure which area to post this in, but it will be our tenth wedding anniversary towards the end of November and require some money saving advice and ideas or recommendations from yourselves on a few things.
Now i want to book a night at a nice but reasonable hotel or apartment in central London for one night. Something that is better than the usual travelodge. Location can be anywhere in central London, but near the Underground would be good. Around £100 to spend on hotel.
Somewhere nice and romantic to eat, not too posh... No suit required, but not McDonalds :rotfl:
Are there any deals on train tickets or trips to the top of the shard about?
Any other ideas would be great... I have a few myself, but its good to get a few more ideas from you guys.
Also, is there anywhere in Central London that i can take her that is New York related? We were married there, so something NYC related would be cool to visit.
Thanks.

you might struggle on that budget, although you could get lucky for a FRiday night, try Jurys Inn, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express for starters.0

Hard Rock Cafe?
A Broadway show that's showing in the West End?
Which mainline station/airport/point of arrival are you arriving at?

Everything in the centre is 'near the underground' - cross-reference the tube map below against a standard overground map (google maps) which shows the station locations against the streets to see what I mean

or use this overlay site

If you give us dates we may be able of offer more help, you should be able to get a reasonable hotel in that budget but it partially depends what night of the week and what else is on in London that weekend....0

try hotwire.com for the hotel, lastminute.com for the cheap show ticket and also for the meal as they often do a combo
