in need of a new laptop - is this any good used mainly for internet, waching dvds (including linked to tv) and simple spreadsheets etc

Its time for a new one - battery has basically failed, fan runs all the time and every so often it just shuts down (overheated).
I followed the link for a net book and it dramatically improved things.0
