Spectrum Game help please?

Hi I have sorted out my old Spectrum games to sell on Ebay.
Most are worth just a few £'s

However, there is one game that I can't find any record of not even on Ebay, and was wondering if anyone else knew of it ...

Spectrum 48 k
Lothlorien (makers?)
Masters of Serebal (title)
by Keith Hunter

Adventuremaster
One of a series of great adventure games

    Oh WOW ! well done!
I have spent ages looking for a mention of it somewhere!

I wanted an idea of a starting price for it. I sort of guessed that it must be quite rare because I couldn't find it.

    Thank you so much

  • The seller's name 'The Attic Bug' of course refers to Jet Set Willy which had a bug which meant the game could never be completed.

Not sure I should be proud or sad that I remember that

I love that they've even got the original magazine trailers, that is very impressive.

It is a shame in a way you can't explain to the younger generation how great games were at the time as now they look ridiculously basic and of course there were the long loading times assuming you could even get the game to load.

Ah yes the good old loading screens and the annoying screeches. Nothing more frustrating than it crashing right before the end of the tape!

You have no idea some of the arguments I have had John lol

Back then it was all about the gameplay and coming up with so many new types that there weren't enough hours in the day, fast forward 30 years and you get the same game year in year out, FIFA ad infinitum :p

People these days have no idea that games were by and large so much better then, and you actually knew who wrote a game and they had their own following, anyone remember David Braben? lol

Getting back to what the original poster said though, I have never heard of that game mentioned, and I did like some fairly obscure ones for instance does anyone remember the pyramid game or that jousting one?

    Pyramid

    Joust
