Dimmer switch for LED lights

I have recently installed some Philips Ledino lights in my kitchen
the items are these :
This one and These
Both are fitted and working off a single switch
I am trying to fit a dimmer switch and have tried a couple and found that there is a flicker at low light levels and a buzz.
I have tried a leading edge and trailing edge dimmer
I found this from Philips
But then when I found the Varilight switch on Amazon .. I found some reviews that say not good for LED dimming.
I have swapped the first dimmer switch I bought and put it into a room with some dimmable LED GU10's and it dims them fine
Anyone got any experience with Ledino ..they are quite expensive and I am not sure if this means any old dimmer will work or the opposite, that they require some super special tech ?

I found this from Philips :
It doesn't seem to answer much more ..But might help someone more knowledgeable than me :
Dimming and master LED Lamps0 -
I believe you need to use a leading edge dimmer that is suitable for use with resistive/inductive loads. This document by Philips explains the difference:
http://www.lighting.philips.co.uk/pwc_li/main/shared/assets/downloads/Dimming_MASTER_LEDlamps_MV.pdf
The dimmer must also not have a neon indicator.
Aurora dimmers should work fine. This is an Aurora module that you can incorporate into a standard dimmer faceplate (metal/plastic):

Thanks for the swift response
As I don't have an old dimmer plate ..Does this module come ready installed on a plate ? Or should I just get the Aurora dimmer from this site and swap them over ..seems a waste ?0 -
If you want dimmer switches that are ready to install, have a look at these:
http://www.ledhut.co.uk/led-dimmer-switches.html
They should be able to confirm if the dimmers are suitable for the Philips LED lamps that you have.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
thanks for all the information ..
Quite a big step up in price for sticking the wrapping around ..
I will have a chat with them tomorrow and see what my options are ..
If it helps anyone .The Ledino lights are very well made and ,easy to fit and cast a bright clean light ..The downside is the price ..Which if you keep your eye on Amazon can drop by a massive amount ..the ceiling light was down to £60 when I bought it and the 3 spots down to £70 ,,so well worth that kind of money ..0 -

They aren't actually Aurora branded ones. They are also trailing edge however, they claim that the dimmers will work with LED lighting.
You may find Aurora at your local electrical wholesalers or elsewhere online. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
Led lighting and dimming seems to be a complete science in itself, i had a quick look on the Phillips website at the product you referred to, if they don't confirm the product is dimmable in there spec-sheet then i think you will have problems with dimming/controlling your lighting. I'm, not entirely sure which product you are referring to in the range, but we will have a look in more detail if you send product link to us. Best of luck ...James @ 299 lighting0
