Never ending!

Erg so, for the past couple of weeks I've been in and out of hospital with my littlest fur baby, Harriet. She's had profuse diarrhoea and vomiting for nearly two weeks and been hospitalised and put on fluids because she wasn't eating, for a total of 4 nights last week, with a total cost of £400 odd :( not claiming on insurance as she started getting symptoms before the 14day no claim window had finished

After collapsing at work on Thursday afternoon I, once again, rushed her to the vets and saw a different vet who went through her notes and history and came to the conclusion it was Campylobacter, so without waiting for the faecal analysis he prescribed her antibiotics and kept her in to monitor her overnight.

Lo and behold the diarrhoea ceases and she starts to pick up and gains her appetite back. She's still not eating properly but she's eating tiny amounts often :j

I've just been fussing over my Bengal, Ash, and I've just noticed a lump beneath his skin

It's pea sized and when I touch it or pinch the skin around it to feel it he doesn't flinch.

What on earth can it be?

Sorry, just needed to let it all out, I've hardly had much sleep over the past week.
I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

Glad Harriet is on the mend.

As for Ash, it could be a multitude of things - a vet will give the most accurate diagnosis. It could be anything, from an ingrown hair or blocked pore causing a small abcess (basically a spot!), to a fatty lump, to something more serious. The vet will take a look, possibly aspirate with a needle to see what's inside, and further examination/tests will pinpoint the exact issue.
