Noise from new radiator

I have recently had installed anew Worcester combi boiler and new radiators (with TVR's) throughout the house. Yesterday was the first day that the heating was put on properly. This morning I was woken early by my bedroom radiator which was giving off a noise similar to that of water dripping from a great height onto a metal surface. The noise seemed to come from inside the radiator and was really quite loud. The noise lasted until the heating went off.
I will need to get the plumber who installed the system back to sort this out but would appreciate some advice from the forum as to what the problem may be as I don't want to be fobbed off.
Thanks

Have you tried bleeding the radiators?14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

No, I haven't done that. I must work out how to do it. The radiators were only installed a couple of weeks ago and the plumber bled them all before he left and there are no 'cold spots' on the radiators. It would be good if it was as simple as just bleeding them
