Well I would send a copy with something like this
Name
Address
Ref xxxx
Dear Parking Eye
Attached is copy of a receipt showing that the person responsible for the vehicle was a genuine shopper, as you can see money was spent within the Range on the day in question.
So as there can be no possible loss I look forward to the cancellation of this this invoice forthwith! If you reply with a refusal because you have a secret clause saying you are not a genuine customer because £30 has not been spent.
Just send the Popla verification code, as we both know that such secret clauses cannot hold any water as it would be unenforceable, and an unlawful penalty that has no legal merit.

Thanks, Stroma.
Where does the £30 figure come from ? Is that the figure that the shops use to decide whether to tell PE to cancel the charge notice, or does it have some other significance ?0 -
It's a made-up figure by PE which may or may not be set in stone, don't worry about it. PE will either cancel the charge or they will give you a POPLA code, when you reply as shown above. Either is good!
How to win at POPLA:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
