Need Help- Electric Or Mixer Shower That Is The Question!!

Options
Hi everyone
Having bathroom ripped out
Husband ( being an electrician) wants to stick a horrible white box in my soon to be nicely tiled shower!!
I prefer to go with mixer as they look nicer and from what I have researched perform better.
It's all very confusing though!
I fancy something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THERMOSTATIC-BATH-AQUABAR-SHOWER-THERMO-TAP-VALVE-W-25A_W0QQitemZ220120407145QQihZ012QQcategoryZ32875QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem- does this look reasonable, is everything I need here ( I gather I dont need a pump) and what would be involved in fitting it i.e is it a deffo job for a plumber or will OH be able to tackle it ( him being reasonably 'handy'
I have a combi boiler

muchos thanks in advance

link not working!! Item number: 220120407145

  • If i had a combi boiler i'd go for an electric shower, if the boiler fails at least you can wash! I have a system boiler and will soon be ripping out my electric shower and putting a mixer in as they are loads better.
