If it's the same menu as the one they've got listed for their 'Summerfest' then it is excellent value. Otherwise somebody  needs to tell them to provide an up-to-date menu on their website so that potential customers have an idea of what they're likely to get.

Also in the bit on the home page where head chef/owner Nigel has his say, there's a word missing (would), 'dessert' has one too many esses (unless he was being ironic) and it's knives not 'knifes'.
  • How do you know this? Is it just for the 30-Nov or all Christmas?

It doesn't say anything on the website about it starting again.
  • Cyber, can you confirm where you heard about the deal? There's nothing showing on the site for it, but would like to take up the offer if it isn't just a mix up :o

As CyberMama has disappeared, I'll have to do the PR for her.

The St. Benedict website hasn't got a set price menu listed so you'll have to assume they haven't got one. However the owners also run two other restaurants in the city, both of which do have one.

The Library does a 3 course lunch time menu for £12.95 which is reasonable although the main course dishes shown on the sample menu are nothing to write home about.

The Italian style Pinocchio's is cheaper at £10.95 for 3 courses. If the sample menu is anything to go by it looks like they've made a bit more of an effort than The Library. They also have a 2 course early evening menu for £10 but they don't say what's on it.

I haven't the foggiest whether the food's any good or not (I live in Ipswich) but you can always check out Trip Advisor for reviews.
