resale gas and water
I posted here a while back regarding a bill for gas and water where we are billed for what we use.
After taking complaint to stage 2 with my housing association we got aletter back from management company stating that the standing charge is made up of two seperate costs which are there admin costs and the costs associated with seasonal efficiency and circulation costs. we have been told that these charges fluctuate depending on use of boiler. Can a standing charge vary each month?
The first 18 months we had variable costs depending on the size of the property then each property has been charged the same.
From 2012 onwards we have then got extra costs for admin fees hidden inside the gas standing charge so we have no idea how much is paid and to where, can we argue that these costs can not be added on as a standing charge. It will be 5 years in Jan sinse I moved here can I argue if they dont get the bills correct by then that they should start from scratch and write these previous bills off.
