I have always kept a reasonably well stocked cupboard and I am hoping to top it up for the winter however I often look at it and think, what will I actually make that I will eat?? This winter I am going to pull together a personal emergency cupboard food recipe book!

I have a proper old larder from when the house was built and it is filled to the max with food... I stare at it all blankly and go shopping for stuff I can make meals with!

I really do need to start planning meals around my stores :o

I stocked up my freezer today with £1 mince from Lidl, perfect for warming bolognaise, chilli or cottage pie :)
