Help please.
DELL D610 laptop was running XP Pro.
The HDD died "Click of death". I have got a new HDD but when trying to restore an image from my external HDD it fails everytime, tried with multiple images, same result each time.
All my important data is on another external HDD and also on DVD, this is safe and readable on another PC.
I have a valid COA sticker for XP Pro on the laptop and have the DELL drivers disk, but no XP Pro CD as the laptop did have a restore partition on it.
Help please, is there anywhere I can get an XP pro CD from and use with my valid licence sticker?
Thanks if you are able to help.
