Switching problems with Cheap Energy Club
On September 25th we set up a swap from EON to M&S fix and save tarrif for our gas and elecrtic, and to date we have had no contact from either EON or M&S, which makes me think that something has gone wrong. Looking on the Cheap Energy Deals it lists phone numbers of suppliers to call, but not M&S number, i have tried to call them several times but after been held waiting for almost 15 mins i gave up. With prices set to rise i am thinking am i going to miss out on this M&S offer, surely i should have heard something by now, there's no point in me changing from EON if M&S put there prices up before my swap is done. maybe i should have just done it myself, and not trusted this Cheap Energy Club, anyone else had any problems with switching at all.

call m&s in the morning, its them who has issues as Im having a similar problem. Its Scottish and southern behind themDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I've tried SSE, as I thought they may be in with M&S, again its hopeless, your just kept waiting. I will give it a few more days, before I get back to my present supplier EON and tell them I'm not switching. Martin Lewis makes a big thing out of switching, always banging on about it. I have never found it easy, and that's one reason I rarely bother, beginning to think I should not have bothered now. Grrrr0

It is easy, I always go direct to the suppliers site. Its just a lot are reseller suppliers these daysDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Managed to find a email address for |M&S Energy queries, have had acknowledgment and should ? get some sort of answer in 48 hours. failing that i will tell EON i don't want to swap and will stay put. I'm afarid i have never found it easy, only ever swapped twice in about 20 years, and even then there were always problems with payments and the last one was a huge problem with the electric meter number, took 5 months for it to be sorted between EDF and EON. Changing now is probably only going to save me about £100 a year so i'm thinking is it worth all the effort.ill give it till Tuesday for a reply. Thanks for the help and advice0
