I am a avid football fan of my local Team Dover Athletic but they charge £13 + £2 for a seat at a home game and I am not prepared to fork this out 21 times this season due to being skint so I have volunteered at the club and as a result I get free entry

So off to my first game volunteering this season

Just back from the Boat Show. OH is all tucked up on the sofa mumbling "I'm dying" and "Can you make me a weak cup of tea, please?" Had a lovely MSE-style time:
Free entry.
Didn't pay £3 for parking. Walked down.
Didn't spend £4/burger(!). Bought two delicious, huge, Venison burgers at the Food Tent for £2 and cooked at home.
Free keyring from one of the exhibitors. Needed a new one.
OH bought some pickled garlic in Food Tent at half the price of Tesco.
Lots of free photographic opportunities for OH.
Didn't spend £2.50/coffee. Took flask from home.
Resisted temptation to sign up for two helicopter flights at £30 each, even though this is something OH and I have wanted to do for months. Really hard cos the thing is flying over our house all day reminding us! Promising ourselves that as soon as we are debt-free we'll go on the local seaplane through Glencoe.
Went this morning to deliberately miss bumping into friends. Bumping into them would inevitably result in a visit to gourmet restaurant at Marina and a huge bill. That sounds really unsociable but our real-world friends all have expensive lifestyles and we aren't currently able to slip back into those ways, plus, we can do without our DFW-ways being mocked.
Didn't buy anything in the craft tent, even though some of the items were exquisite.

Afternoon all!
I was expecting it to be grim and raining today so we have been de-cluttering our bedroom, it's still bright and breezy though so kind of wishing we had gone out after all and saved this for tomorrow when it definitely will be raining no doubt!
Anyway, it needed doing, so far 3xbin bags of rubbish, 1 x recycling and 1 for charity shop. Summer clothes packed away and sorting through winter ones, few buttons to sew on and a few forgotten things found! Nothing listed on eBay yet, but got lots to go on and I've found an old Nokia handset to recycle too!
Lunch has been last nights takeaway leftovers reheated! Washing is on the line but I'm not sure for how long! :T0 -

Uh man - just realised my paypal account was linking direct to my credit card rather than my debit card! Just checked my recent transactions and got loads of small amounts on there. Only £10.50 in recent transactions thankfully. Guess I should be glad I quickly realised!0

Super productive day today! Breakfast lunch and dinner from stores/leftovers
6 bags for charity shop cleared out, evil cupboard of doom in bedroom sorted, all bedroom drawers sorted, hats, scarves and gloves all sorted and accessible!
3x loads of washing done, got them partially dry on line so finished off in drier, not put away yet but I have a sparkly clean bedroom so they will not just sit in a pile now! Hubby had a massive clear out of the 'man' boxes and thrown loads away, given away an old tv that's been sat in cupboard for a year!
A no spend day and now completely knackered but so chuffed to have had a really good declutter! A a box for eBay sorted, but not listed yet! Wonder if I'm pushing my luck to get e spare bedroom sorted tomorrow ;-)0
