D'ya wanna come and organise mine then please ;)

I have so much clutter and stuff I could sell that I just don't know where to start with it all. Car boots are out unfortunately with me not being able to get out, and I've lost faith with Ebay a bit, not to mention it would mean DS taking everything to the PO, so not sure what else to do with it all :o

How about giving it away? After years of hoarding stuff (too good to throw away) for a never-to-happen boot sale, I now just offload to charity shops and the Salvation Army Hall as I clear out. I know I could make some money but I also know it ain't gonna happen.

I can't live with the idea of wasting and throwing away but think if it's of use to someone else they should have it. And if it's true that what goes around comes around, I'll be laughing!

As for organised home, I agree that it makes you feel better but keep finding work gets in the way. At the end of a school holiday I feel things are under control but by the Friday of the first week back it's chaos again.

That has crossed my mind as it happens, as I'm pretty sure there's an organisation that sells second hand household goods very cheaply to people on benefits and starting out in their first homes etc. I'll have to check that out and see if they wouldn't mind coming to collect as I have enough to make it worth their while ;)

Judi, hadn't thought about the local rag or anything, so thanks for the suggestion. I think they also have local free-ads or something online so I'll check that out!

Ed'lass, I'd forgotten about that thread LOL! I did post on it when I first arrived at MSE so will have to go back and take another look :D

I really need to get something sorted out as I'm desparately wanting to move and I can't bare the thought of dragging all this stuff with me again, not to mention packing it up, and I doubt I'll have much more room than I have now for storage ... basically zilch! ... as I can only get another 2-bed property while on benefits :(
