    Erm, you're welcome?

What exactly is your problem with me correcting you posting your opinion as a fact?

I think I know the answer, you didn't like it.
I'm on a yellow card dear, so can't throw a tirade of honesty at you.

    :)
  • Most airlines charge a small fee for infants.

Its not a small fee it is normally 10% of the adult fare and if changeable then normally 10% of the adult change fee.
Not all airlines have the same % discount and not all fares have infant discounts but its pretty much standard on many scheduled airlines.

So long as you are careful to present the tirade as your opinion then I don't see a problem. I don't cry to mods.

Low-cost carriers generally charge a fixed fee.

I'm 35 and whilst I don't update to the extent I was accused of by Mr Wang and his list of poorly worded accusations, I see nothing unusual or strange when others do it.

Just to point out, correcting/commenting on grammar on forums stopped around 1998. A few self righteous, obnoxious and generally virgins continue the failing trend. And though you may sit guffawing and gratifying yourself whilst salivating over your keyboard/iPad - Most other people are cringing.

    Sad really.

In a way I almost agree with you. I would advocate children banned flights where people who wish to enjoy a peaceful trip and not listen to a helpless baby suffer its ears popping can book onto.

A couple of Asian carriers have child free cabins - or there is the option of leasing a plane.

Then people like yourself can all sit with each other on the child friendly flights and enjoy the noise of each other's babies suffering.

    Define a 'child friendly' flight.

I think you are referring to the majority of flights on commercial airlines that are a public means of transport which can occasionally place you within close proximity of some of the dregs of society or some very interesting people. You pay your money and take your chance!

Yes - I have encountered crying babies on a flight - including premium cabins - but irrespective of the class of cabin you fly in, it is still a public method of transport - so a good set of noise cancelling earphones and a volume control is a way of mitigating the issue. Rolling eyes and tutting will not stop a baby crying!

More annoying on a flight are the DYKWIA's, farters, nose pickers and genitalia scratters who in the main, tend not to be children.

A child friendly flight is one that allows children under the age of 3.

Look I completely agree with you that adults can display a huge range of anti social behaviour on flights also. I'd also throw in drunks and heavy petters to your list. Not to mention people that recline their chair.

Look to be honest I only posted what I did because it's quite fun to wind up all the parents on here who take their kids on flights. They absolutely bristle when people suggest they shouldn't fly and reel off examples of how their children are great flyers and don't disturb anyone. It's very funny how they feel they must defend their child's honor in cybespace, but also very sweet.

Says it all about you really!

I don't think I will waste any more minutes of my life responding to a load of drivel.
