Hi

I am currently with Atlantic Energy for my Gas and Electricity on the standard tariff with No Standing Charge.

Electric:

Unit price (pence per kWh)
  • First 900 kWh 22.950p 24.098p incl. VAT
  • Remaining 2275 kWh 12.360p
Gas:
Unit price (pence per kWh)
  • First 2500 kWh 7.920p 8.316p incl. VAT
  • Remaining 11141 kWh 4.100p 4.305p incl. VA

Now I have been checking the MSE Cheap Energy Club for cheaper prices.
I have come across the EDF Blue +Price Promise March 2015 | Fixed till 31 Mar 2015.

Gas:
Unit price (pence per kWh)
  • 3.409p 3.579p incl. VAT
Standing charge £91.25 £95.81 incl. VAT

Electric:
Unit price (pence per kWh)
  • 11.430p 12.002p incl. VAT
Standing charge £65.70 £68.99 incl. VAT
Now I cant really compare prices because I have only just moved into my flat but am confused as the EDF tariff has a standing charge compared to my current supplier.

Is anyone please able to help me decide and advise if the EDF tariff would be best for me. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Jai
