Christmas Bake Off - ideas please!

Every year, my company does a Christmas Bake Off and there is a significant cash prize for the winner (saves the company buying desert!).
It can be anything - previous winners include cheesecake, mousse, truffles.
I also think alcoholic content (e.g. brandy butter) and good presentation help.
My biggest problem is inspiration - hence this request for some - PLEASE!

You could do some kind of Yule Log and have some brandy in the filling perhaps - decorate nicely etc.
A Gingerbread house?
A saffron cheesecake or a christmas pudding cheesecake - but then you said cheesecakes have featured before so maybe not so exciting.
Make a cake - perhaps chocolate with raspberry filling, cover it with sugarpaste and decorate
Cupcakes with cinnamon and apples and perhaps some brandy or mulled wine flavouring in the icing?
Sticky caramel cinnamon rolls
A carrot cake with extra cinnamon spicing or other christmas spices. The traditional philadelphia frosting. Decorate the top.0 -
Tiramisu trifle? Lots of alcohol in that plus chocolate. It would win my vote :j0

A Yule log would be a great idea though I think a mint Baileys filling would be nice, if you can get some?
If you're looking for inspiration you could try the Christmas food magazines - Christmas Heaven is out now (I LOVE it) and BBC Good Food is normally out in early November.0 -
How about filo pastry mince pies like little Santa sacks, alongside a cake of Santa coming down the fireside?0

Chocolate and Baileys are a great Christmas combination, I'd personally go for a rich chocolate cake decorated with homemade Baileys truffles. Yummy!0

I made some sort of amaretto yule log type thing that I got from a magazine one year. It was amazing, quite complicated but delish. Don't have the recipe now but I bet you could google for one....1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
MFW 2013 no. 62 £10,000/£10,000
MFW 2014 no 62 £8000/£70000 -
I'm going to have a go at these for our Christmas Day tea:

What about a pavlova filled with brandy cream and winter fruits, maybe fruits soaked in alcohol?0
