Does anyone have any comments to say (from their experience or informed decision) about the GJD security lighting system or any touch panel Honeywell alarm system?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Honeywell as well as Cooper and Visonic are good brands if you are specifically after touchscreen burglar alarms.
GJD security lighting is great if you want to lighting setup zones, program different on/off times etc.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Thx.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Why do you specifically want a touchscreen keypad? Just so it looks modern and 'cool'?
You will need to provide a few more details on the size of house and whether you want a wired or wireless system. Generally wired is better if you have the option.
All decent alarms will have an auxilliary output which you can use to switch security lights on when the alarm triggers via a relay box.
If you want more sophisticated lighting control rather than just having a few normal security lights around the perimeter of the house, then consider the GJD system. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Cool - in part yes, but I often like the whole concept of touch screen, for me it gives the impression that a system is scaleable when you have screens that are firmware updatable compared to hard keypads which are fixed for life.
I was going to go for wired, but there seems to be more functionality with wireless.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
You are aware that some of the new Honeywell touch screen keypads are only available in the USA.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

No, I was not aware of that. I thought whatever I saw on the internet was available in the UK.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
