First Direct Plus and TSB

Options
Hi,

Does anyone else use the First Direct Plus to manage their bank account and also have a TSB account formerly Lloyds?

I have been using this for years and now that my Lloyds accounts have moved to TSB I cannot access the TSB accounts through First Direct Plus as they are not on the list of organisations. Obviously I am able to access my TSB accounts manually by entering the passwords etc.

Does anyone know a work around for this? If I were to reinstall First Direct Plus and set up all of my passwords again does anyone know if TSB are now in the list of organisations as it is now few months since the change over?

Any help would be appreciated.

Axel

One would assume the list of organisations on their website is up to date?...and TSB aren't on it. Moreover, they still list the old Lloyds TSB entity.

But...why don't you call or secure message FD for your answer?

Or maybe you have? If so what did they say?

The native Accountunity service, on which first direct Plus is based, has had TSB added on the day the TSB website became available.

May be First Direct just haven't got round to updating their version of AccountUnity yet.

My Reply from them back in September
Thank you for your message dated 24-Sep-2013 regarding the problems you have been experiencing with TSB via the Internet Banking Plus service.

The situation you describe is related to the script used for TSB. These scripts are an essential element of our service which take the required information from the various organisations. We occasionally edit these scripts so that they stay in line with the most recent security procedures and updates from each organisations.

I confirm that we are currently awaiting the latest script for this organisation, I am unable to give you any timescales at the moment.

I sent them a secure message at the time around two months ago and had no reply.

Neither First Direct nor YBS seem to have noticed that Lloyds and TSB now have two entirely separate systems.

Ditch their "service" and use the native Accountunity service: https://www.ewise.com.au/accunity/aa/home.asp

Unfortunately, you will have to enter all your login details again but at least it works.

Many thanks for that, it looks good I will try it out. I do not mind re-entering every thing once to make life easier. There are also a lot more institutions that I use included.

YBS have got TSB on their money manager. I was able to add it to my account a few days ago

YBS never loads my Lloyds accounts now (always says "Error"), and it won't let me add TSB. I just doesn't find any TSB. How did you manage to add it?

The YBS implementation of MM also never groups my accounts properly. E.g. it realises that my FlexPlus is with Nationwide, but doesn't list any of my other Nationwide accounts under Nationwide. Similar for all sorts of other outfits. The implementation is really messy, and essentially unusable.
