Howdens designer coming Monday

Hi
We are having a wall knocked through , reflooring , door bricked up etc , then a kitchen , my builder uses Howdens or Magnet , we went for Howdens , and have their designer coming out monday
we think we know how to keep costs down , laminate work tops , and flooring , lamona oven etc , we did like the burford range
But cost will be a factor bearing in mind the whole job combined
we will have a single oven , gas hib ,basic , and a fairly standard 1.5 sink
Can anyone recommend how to maximise our money with Howdens , what ranges to speciofy etc?
