Changing the Language Setting on a Laptop

I've been given a shiny new laptop by my employer :-) Slight problem is that myself and my employer are located in China! I've set up the laptop so it's connected to my wireless router, and installed my VPN on it. I can get google HK and explorer fine. However, how do I change the settings in word and powerpoint so the language is English, not Chinese. It's Windows 7 and of course everything like file/Options etc is in Chinese so it's not easy to even play around to find out how to do this. Can anyone help - thanks.

Having Office 2010 here, all I can suggest is ...
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office\Microsoft Office 2010 Tools
There's various shortcuts in there, including one called
Microsoft Office 2010 Language Preferences0 -
You need #27, #33a, #12 double portion, and #44. Please specify if you want extra crispy noodles.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0
