I cant for the life of me find from their website what the actual unit price of gas is or the standing charge price.
Could someone point me in the right direction please.
I've just gone on the comparison site and they come up a bit cheaper but I want to see what their charges actually are.
Many thanks

Be wary: some comparison sites are underquoting the standing charge by more than 13p per day. Look on the results page of the comparison site - there'll be a link somewhere to tell you the details.0

Could I ask you to separately write to Ofgem and complain to them about the uselessness of their Confidence Code kitemark for this issue? The lack of clarity of pricing of npower's tariffs is ridiculous.0

I really can't find the prices detailed anywhere on their site. The link saying prices just waffles on about being less than a standard tariff but no actual prices.0

Only way to find out from Npower site is to get a quote from the April 2015 web page

Enter postcode and away you go0 -

remember not all comparison sites have vat included with unit prices, (might be why you are seeing some cheaper unit prices)0 -
Hi
Thinking about the PriceFix April 2015 tariff.
Am I right that the DD discount is now applied daily by a deduction from the standing charge?
Is the standing charge also calculated on a daily rather than annual basis?
Is the standing charge fixed as well as the unit price?
Thanks!0 -
Hi,
II have two quandaries with NPower and I wonder is there a full and correct answer to:
1] I have a PriceFix contract that is not date delimited either in the title or within the context. As this is a "CONTRACT" are they bound by conventional law to honour it. I have printed out the terms and conditions on the obverse of the contract and there is nothing there to indicate any date, price movement or determination of the contract except that either party may do so in writing which has not been actuated by either party. I have scanned in these conditions, optically regenerated it into MS., Word and carried out searches throughout the document using "MS Word Search" and this finds no provision for date delimitation nor price change therefore there is nothing to alter all or any of the afore-stated.
2] NPower did not provide any fixed price all following week one of the contract when they uplifted the price for t he first time. They accepted this was wrong the following summer when Manchester Social Services telephoned them in complaint, on my behalf, but I have never received any credit for the over payments although they did right back in acknowledgement on the 28th July 2012. Do they owe me from commencement on the 15th August 2011 to the present, as I believe, or is there some other law that makes things different from common law with respect to the Utility firms?
Yours,

Not sure. It should be applied pro-rata though if you leave before the year is out - another company were told off for not doing this recently (Scottish Power maybe) so it was added to the recent rule changes.Hi
