First Direct bonus question

Hi all, just a quick question.

I signed up for a FD bank account on 30th september which at this point offered a £125 bonus for signing up. I got all the information in the post and called up to activate a day or two later. I was informed that whilst everything had been activated, I couldn't complete the switching process at that point and would have to wait for a callback until this morning from the switching team in order to sort.

This has just happened and is due to go through at the end of the month but I've just looked into it and noticed on the website and through reading that the bonus has been reduced since Wednesday to £100. I'll be a bit miffed if I get less of a bonus because I've had to wait for them to contact me to complete the switch. Does anyone know where I stand with the bonus?

Once it's all gone through and you got your bonus, if its £100 instead of £125 simply ring them up. They'll most likely just credit you with the additional £25.

I was in exactly the same position as this last time they reduced the bonus from £125 to £100. I only got round to switching about a week before the 3 month deadline was up, and I got £125 without even having to ask. It goes off the account opening date, not the date of the actual transfer of dd's and s/o's.
