  • This is high - however there no other way round this. I have left addressing this issue for too long. Because it s so complicated I needs a specialist who can guide and explain me through this.

Would places like tesco offer these products.

    Many thanks

You should speak to an independent financial advisor in your area. "Supermarket" cover is often cheap because it is a budget version of the full cover, with fewer definitions on which a claim will be settled. Do you want to take a chance on getting the wrong illness?

Please, get proper advice from an authorised person who has the whole market to choose from in advising you the best route to take.

You can find an IFA in your area by using;-

    https://www.unbiased.co.uk

switching off the "sponsored ads only" option, so you get a full list for your area. A couple of quick calls and you should find someone to help. Protection can still be sold on a commission basis, so you shouldn't have to pay a fee.

Oh god! Dont go to tesco or any supermarket.

An IFA may be more expensive but you are getting proper cover. I used to work for a life office that did Tescos life insurance, it really was a stripped down version with a tesco badge on the front and a some clubcard points.

An IFA or Mortgage Advisor are your best routes here. What will happen at the end of the mortgage term on the interest only mortgage if you dont die?

    Something to think about.

But to be honest, if you sit down with a broker, let them do a factfind with you they will discuss what it is your after and then come back to you with a solution. If you have a budget, tell them that. They may not be able to get everything you want within that budget but they will do their best.

It was the same on their pension product as well. A handleful of funds and actually more expensive than a full version via an IFA.

I can't think of a better site that does what unbiased does. What is your problem with it?

Have you asked friends and relatives for a recommendation?

unbiased has the largest database. Just make sure the classification is independent and not restricted.
