Hi Guys
Would appreciate your recommendation on a good device for recording phone conversations. I no longer have a landline so would like to know if and how this can be done via skype or mobile phone? I have a Nokia 6300 handset.

Don't know about the Nokia 6300 but nokia 300 has the facility
try this;
when on the call, press 'options'
press record0 -
also dont forget if you are going to record phone conversations, then you need to inform the other person they are being recorded.0

Thanks I'll try that0

No you don't. You only need to do so if you intend to allow others to hear the recordings (e.g. you intend to use a recording as evidence, or publish the recording online). If it's for your own purposes then you can record as much as you like without saying.
Note: you can use TRANSCRIPTS of recordings as evidence (if you haven't advised the other party of the recording), just not the recording itself.

Thanks for clarifying. It is just for my personal use.0
